Q.No.1:-What are the main things to remember before giving the ECAT Test?

Ans:- Here are the tips:
1. Buy two BLACK pointers incase one stop working you dont have to worry much.
2. Don't bring mobile phones to test centre nor calculators.
3. While marking correct question carefully see the question number and option you are circling. P.S: alot of time students encircle answer of question 20 to the 21 and if such thing happens the whole sheet order get disturb. BE Careful in that matter.
4. Dont forget to Take care of your original ID card or any original certificate bearing photo.
5. The Test is Mostly of 80 or 90 minutes. Time not confirmed.
6. English portion is easy ECAT-13 had a paragraph from which 10 Question were asked.
7. Chemistry is the toughest one.

Q.No.2:-How to calculate aggregate of UET?

Ans:-
Calculating Aggregate:-

  • If you have 904 marks in Fsc,then(904/1100)*70=57.527%
  • You scored 240 in entry test then (240/400)*30=18
  • 70%FSC+30%Test=57.27+18=75.27%

How to Find Period of Function and Equation

Period and Domain of Trigonometry function Here you find all types of ticks regarding to "Period and Domain of Trigonometry function".This is very easy chapter in trigonometric portion.
I am going to share you a simple tricks which I remembered and it helped me a lot.So let's start.

Period and Domain of Trigonometry function

→ How to find "Period" of any function

For Example-1 → Find the period of sin5x??

General formula → :we now 2 ∏ is the period of Sin.So the general formula of sinax is 2 ∏ /a.

Answer → :In above example, here a=5 so we put this into general formula(2 ∏ /a).We get 2 ∏ /5 which is the answer of this question.
For Example-2 → Find the period of tan5x??

General formula → :we now ∏ is the period of Tan.So the general formula of tanax is ∏ /a.

Answer → :In above example, here a=5 so we put this into general formula( ∏ /a).We get ∏ /5 which is the answer of this question.
→ How to find period of "Remaining Function"

1-Cot and Tan → These two function Follow the same rule because their period is ∏

2-Sin,Cosec,Cos and Sec → These two function Follow the same rule because their period is 2 ∏

→ How to find period of an "Equation Function"

For Example-3 → Find the period of sin5x +cos5x??

Trick → if the period of both function(given equation) are same then period of any one function is the period of function

Answer → The period of this equation is 2 ∏ /5.

For Example-4 → Find the period of tan5x +cos5x??

Trick → if the period of both function(given equation) are different then we first find the period of both function .After finding the period of both function we simply add it.So,we will get period of an equation

Answere → The period of this equation is 3 ∏ /5.

For Example → Find the period of sin2x +cos5x??

Trick → if the period of both function are same but answer of function is different.Like in given example period of sin2x is ∏ and cos5x is 2 ∏ /5.So,we add both the period of function. After adding the function we get the period of required equation

Answer → The period of this equation is 7 ∏ /5.
I hope you get the idea of solving these types of equations.Insh ALlah i will share you more tips which i remember.

Equation involving two variables and Permutation

Equation involving two variables and Permutation Here you find all types of ticks regarding to "Equation involving two variables and Permutation ".This Chapter is very easy to understand and 1 question ask from this chapter. So,Friends you have to learn this chapter in order to secure good marks in any type of entry test because in entry test 2-3 questions make very large different in aggregate
I am going to share you a simple tricks which I remembered and it helped me a lot.So let's start.

1st Topic:Equation involving two variables

1st Tip

For Example → Find the value of x and y if x+y=7 and x2-xy+y2=13???

Option ↓
a).(1,0)
b).(2,1)
c).(4,3)
d).(-3,2)

How → This question can be solved within 30 second but How??

Solution → This question is solved very easily because in entry test options are given in question sheet.Simply you have to satisfy 1 option which satisfy the equation.

Answer → So,Option c will satisfy the equation if you put x=4 and y=3 you will satisfy the equation. But if you put (-3,2) in given equation, given equation will not satisfy the condition

Sometimes questions asked like this → How many roots of given equation.

Simply the degree of equation is equal to the roots of equation.

2nd Topic:Permutation

1st Tip

For Example → How many arrangements of the letters of the "Pakistan" words, taken all together, can be made ?

Tips → Count the letters.i.e.8 and count how many words are same.In above example,2 A is same whereas remaining alphabet only 1.So we divide total count alphabet/same alphabet.

Solution → So we get 8!/2!.

Answer → 20160 is correct answer ♥
