FAQs about GIKI

FAQs about GIKI

Merit of Fields in Past few years has been like

ME >EE> CHE>CE>MSE>ES>CS

This is the general trend..Likely to continue this year(2014)

Q. I didn't get my preferred field, Can I switch to another field?
No and yes!.. If you have been offered admission in first list in some field it means that you don't have enough merit for the field you offered. You cant get that field. However you can switch to field of lower merit as you see above

Q.I didn't apply for financial Aid or Scholarship, Can I get now?
If you didn't apply you wont get it now. There are some scholarships that are awarded at the end of first year. but you will have to pay the fee now.

Merit Based scholarships are given to top 3 positions in entrance test.

Amount of Financial Aid May Vary and Amount of scholarship may also vary... depends on Donating Agency and your financial condition...
Can be full or partial...

Keep checking your mails and keep your phones on those who applied for Scholarship or Aid will be contacted soon i few days..
For Switching Field..Talk to Admission office..
